Here in Bolivia

Merry Christmas and a happy new year to all of you,

Bless the Lord, God is faithful. We have seen a mighty work done by the Lord here in Bolivia. The attendance of our crusades was much lower than what was expected, but then agian, we were competing with Christmas and a lot of people were gone or going shopping. Nonetheless, around 400-500 people showed up for our three days of crusades. Out of these numbers 81 people gave their lives to Christ for the very first time. That was a conversion factor of about 15-20% of all in attendance. Praise the Lord!

We also saw many healings and miracles. Tumers disappeared form one womans breasts. A man in a wheel chair got up and was walking. Eyes and ears were opening. Heart ailments cured. And a variety of aches and pains that totally disappeared. Certainly not a comprehensive list, but just a taste of what the Lord has been doing here in Bolivia.

My eyes have been opened on this trip to how to more effectively reach the lost. In Sucre Bolivia where we just had our most recent campaign we were on three different TV and radio stations. I was on live TV and radio twice and had been interviewed about four times for public TV which was aired later on. So we were able to attract the lost in all of our campaigns. In Uruguay we were also on live TV for three of our crusade meetings, but there were no TV or radio adds to help attract the lost. Therefore there were less new conversions.

Here in Bolivia the costs associated with these crusades including the TV and radio adds were about only $720.00 dollars. And this payed for 5 TV and radio commercials per day for 8 days plus most of the other expenses, excluding the costs of travel and hotels or food. That means that it cost less than $10.00 per soul for the whole campaign in Sucre. Granted, the costs of advertizing are much less expensive in Bolivia than some other countries, but the Lord has opened my eyes to how more effectively reach the lost. This is a wise investment and also a very inexpensive one.

The brothers here in Bolivia are already asking me to come back to Sant Cruz this next November to conduct crusades in this city as well as in Sucre and Trinidad again. We will be before the Lord in prayer about this and trust that you will be praying along with us regarding this request. If we were to do it it would be at the optimum time of the year when we could attract more people and see more results.

One of the most precious memories to me was having talked to a woman who had approached me asking if I had remembered her. Having said no, she proceeded to tell me that she had received Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour at one of the churches I had preached at in Sucre in January. And here she now was serving on the ushers team at the crusade doing the Lord´s work. Praise the Lord for lasting fruit! I suppose I´ll never really know the full extent of our ministry until we walk through the gates of heaven and are greated by people whom we have never known, only to find out that they were the ones that we touched in our lives through our service to the Lord.

And this fruit is not just my reward. You all who so faithfully pray for me and suuport our work of ministry financially will be rewarded just the same. For the reward of those who advance the Kingdom in the front lines of the battlefield will be the same as those who stay behind to guard the wives and children and all of the supplies. Thank you for your continued supprt. May I ask that you consider what you might be able to do to invest in the Kingdom of heaven to see that more souls be given the opportunity to hear the message of the gospel of the Kingdom?

Please Pray for my dad

Dear friends,

Please pray for my dad as he will be having open heart surgery Friday morning. Just learned of this today. Am in Bolivia today. Two flights have been cancelled to Sucre where we are having our crusades at the end of the week due to bad weather. Hoping to fly out tomarrow. If not we will have to take a bus which will take 13 hours vs 1/2 hour in a plane, and then drive all day and night to boot. Please pray.

Would rather not have to go through this. The Lord met His people in power while in Uruguay. Unusal signs and wonders and creative miracles were displayed. Will share more when I have time. God bless and goodbye for now. P.S….pray also for the crusades in Peru as I will be there at the beginning of next month.

Uruguay!

Dear friends and family members,

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness. The power of the Lord has shown up here in Uruguay! There have been many healings, signs, wonders, and miracles. We are winding down our campaign in Montevideo and are preparing to go to Melo tomarrow to preach in more typical crusades that are evangelistic in nature. Up to this point we’ve been primarily ministering to the pastors and leaders. And the Lord has been leaving wonderful deposits into the lives of the leadership wherever we have been.

We were up until about 1:00-1:30am this past Sunday night ministering at a local church where the power of the Lord was so strong that almost no one was left standing in the Presence of the Lord. Most were slain in the Spirit, and many claimed healing in their bodies. Most were weeping, some were laughing, others just twirling and dancing to the Lord.

The pastor of this church was so excited about what the Lord had done that he called Alcides, the overseer with the church of God here in Uruguay, to tell him about all of these events at 4:00am in the morning. We are preaching once more tonight in a local church in Montevideo then leave for Melo in the morning.

Please be praying along with us for our campaign in Melo. There will be several denominations represented there. All of the meetings will be in the public square in the middle of town and in the open air. They are expecting hundreds to come. It has also been reported that the local television station may be present to broadcast the meetings either live or recorded and delivered on another day.

Pray that many will come to Christ. Pray also for the power of God to show up. “For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power” 1 Cor. 4:20. Also be praying for my safety as I will be traveling to Bolivia next week to conduct crusades in Sucre. I will be flying out of Montevideo to Lima Peru with a layover for 12 hours and then arriving in Santa Cruz Bolivia at 1:00am in the morning Dec. 18th. That same morning I will be flying to Sucre Bolivia. So it will be a long and tiring trip. Well, God bless and will talk to you’all soon.

Montevideo Uruguay

Dear friends and family,

I thank the Lord for so many faithful servants of the Lord who have been lifting me and the team up to the Lord in prayer during this season of ministry here in S. America. We are presently in Montevideo Uruguay and will begin our ministry to the pastors and leaders here in the city tomarrow. I will be speaking twice tomarrow and twice again on Saturday at the convention. Burkhard (from Germany) will be speaking once Friday and once again on Saturday at the convention as well.

Burkhard and I met in Toronto Cananda a couple of years ago and he will be accompanying us here in Uruguay and also Peru. It is a God-send to have him on the team, or otherwise I would have been preaching three times a day which would’ve been extremely difficult as I am quite animated when I speak. We were hoping to have some others with us here in Uruguay but the Lord did not permit it. So we have exactly those He wanted with us on this trip. Praise the Lord!

We had just come back from a visit to the interior of the country this past week to a city named Artigas which borders Brazil. There we had another pastors and leaders convention. I was told that these people are extremely poor and would not have been able to attend the meetings here in Montevideo. So It was a blessing to able to come to minister to them. In order to get there we had to drive for around six hours up and back. But the Lord was faithful to meet the needs of His people.

The power of God showed up in signs, wonders, and miracles. Many were slain in the Spirt as the power fell. Several were healed as well. Unfortunately we were not able to get enough testimonies from those who were being touched of the Lord to know exactly how many had received a healing as the service was winding down at around 11:30pm and it was already late and we were ministering to many people. Only time will tell. We are asking the pastors of that region to gather the tesimonies of those who were healed and to forward them to us in writing by email.

The meetings here in Uruguay are different in nature to those that we are expecting in Bolivia, Peru, and Columbia. Here we are ministering to the pastors and leaders of the church. So we are not seeing many if any unbelievers yet. Therefore we have not yet seen souls saved as the churches have not been bringing the lost. But we have seen many recommit their lives to Christ. But praise the Lord, we’ve only just begun!

Please continue to pray for us. Because the Lord had given me a warning in advance through a dream of how the enemy would try to attack the team, I have been covered quite nicely regarding our transportation. However, Burkhard arrived in Montevideo without his luggage for a couple of days and has also been tested with sickness in his family back in Germany where his father in law is near death. He may have to leave if he dies. And that would place the burden of having to do all of the preaching directly onto my shoulders.

Pray for the meetings beginning tomarrow and Saturday with the pastors and leaders here in montevideo. Sunday we will be preaching at the district pastors church here in the city, and then next Wed. at another one. We then leave for Melo Uruguay for another pastors and leaders convention starting on Thurday of next week and concluding on Saturday. We will be preaching at a local church in Melo Sunday morning and then departing for Montevideo in the afternoon and arriving that evening.

I will be departing for Bolivia the next day (Dec.17th) and will minister there by myself as Burkhard will be leaving to go back to Germany for the holidays and then rejoining us back in Peru in early Jan. We are expecting great things from the Lord! The Lord has spoken to me about an exponential increase of signs, wonders, and miracles on this trip. So Pray along with me that the Lord will release His power amongst His people. Thank you so much for all of your prayers and for those of you who have supported us financially. Your generous gifts will be richly rewarded and are much needed to help cover the costs for the crusades.

We have moved out in faith to rent facilities in Bolivia, Peru, and Columbia that will cost several thousands of dollars. Between staging equiptment, sound systems, advertising, facilities, etc. we are truely sticking our necks out there in faith. We trust that the Lord will meet all of our needs in Christ Jesus. A Very Significant Prophetic Dream

Dear intercessors,

Last night I had a very significant prophetic dream. The dream was both instructive and also one of warning concerning my up and coming trip to S. America. In it I was approaching a house that had been haunted by an evil spirit. The spirit was so vile that no man dared to enter the house. But as I was approaching it I was determined to deliver all of those lives that were paralyzed in fear regarding this spirit. So I began to pray before entering and the Lord gave me revelation on how to break the bondage of this strong man.

As I began to pray with two others, the Lord showed me that if we were united in Spirit that the stronghold of the strong man would be broken and that those paralyzed in fear would be set free. I then proceeded to go into the house to cast out this spirit. I immediately was confronted by it but was not afraid and began to take authority over it and to cast it out. I knew in my heart that this was just not any spirit, it was a principality or power that ruled over the house.

So I bound it in Jesus’ Name and cast it out. In my heart I knew intuitively that this had made the enemy mad and that he was going to come back against me and would attack those things regarding transportation in my life.

I believe that the Holy Spirit has issued a call to unify the intercessors regarding the tasks at hand in S. America. There are powers in dark places and principalities that are holding the people of the Lord hostage to fear in these countries of Uruguay, Bolivia, Peru and Columbia. The Lord is issuing a decree that if we bind together in unity, as “a cord of three strands is not quickly broken”, we can bring deliverance for the people and see the mighty outstretched arm of the Lord bind the strong man and cast him down so that the people can be set free.

But I also believe that the Lord is giving me a forewarning of the enemy’s strategies in the up and coming weeks. He has show me that the enemy will attempt to attack the transportation systems that we will be taking during our travels. So friends, I am asking you to pray along with me that the enemy’s plans will be thwarted. The Lord only gives us this kind of revelation so that we can be prepared for the enemy’s schemes.

Pray that the Lord will give me a safe trip to California. I will be driving to N. Cal. this coming Sunday and then driving back on the following Sunday. It takes two days to drive out and two days back. Pray for us regarding our transportation while in S. America. And pray also for the unity of the Saints of God, and for the unity of the intercessors that the Lord has placed in my life. Pray that we will be as one to see God liberate His people from all of the fears that bind them. Thank you so much for all of your prayer support. I couldn’t do this great work without you.
